AWS re:Invent helped to Fill it Forward in 2019 by completing an astounding 30 water projects. The funds are supporting our capital clean water project in partnership with charity: water. The capital clean water project is a School Water Filtration System that will help 300 people in Kolkata, India. Each project funded helped to complete different components of the project such as procuring materials, hiring local stang, providing in-country support and aiding project mobilization.
This was Fill it Forward’s second time partnering with AWS for their RE:Invent show. Comparative to last year’s conference, there was an 80% increase in scans and 43% increase in installs.
For 2019, AWS created a sponsorship opportunity for NetApp to sponsor the event’s Health & Wellness booth. Along with this sponsorship was the ability to co-sponsor our Cupanion bottles. This provided both organizations with a collaborative and unique product for all 60,000 event attendees to receive upon registration.
“It was a pleasure partnering with Cupanion at AWS re:Invent 2019 because together we were able to make a positive impact. This successful program kept the attendees hydrated, funded a school’s water filtration system and brought together the #reinvent community for a great cause. Also, winning the award for “Best Activations” at re:Invent was the cherry on the cake! We can’t wait to partner with Cupanion again at future events.” – Melissa Hara, Event Program Strategy Manager, NetApp
“Thank you so much for all that you do!! We could not make an impact at all without your collaboration and partnership. I am so glad to see that we are raising the bar with this program year over year, and that the attendees are getting behind it.” – Katelyn Frate, Event Marketing Manager, AWS
